The Liminal Leap: Why I Walked Away to Step Into the Unknown

We are in a liminal space—personally and collectively. The old maps don’t work anymore, and the new ones haven’t fully formed. The question is: how do we navigate what comes next?

When the Old Maps No Longer Work

A few weeks ago, I quit my job—not because I had to, but because I knew I couldn’t stay the same.

For years, I built my life around things that once defined me. My career. The pursuit of success. The thrill of competition. Even my interests—sports, achievement, external validation—began to feel like echoes of an old self. They weren’t "wrong" or meaningless, but something in me was shifting, making space for something else.

Then, about a year ago, that shift accelerated—in ways I couldn’t ignore.

The way I saw the world started to change. Ideas and frameworks I had relied on no longer felt as solid. The things that used to drive me no longer held the same meaning.

It wasn’t a single moment, but rather a slow unraveling—one that led me to question everything I thought I knew.

The world is changing at a speed we can barely process. But the real transformation isn’t just technological—it’s personal. We are being asked to evolve, and the question is whether we’re ready.

For months, I tried to force it to work. I told myself I could keep one foot in the familiar while exploring something deeper. I even wrote a letter to my boss, laying out how I could be all in.

That weekend, just days before I resigned, I woke up in a panic, gasping for air. It was as if my body had already decided what my mind was still resisting.

I wasn’t meant to stay.

The truth was, the company was entering a critical phase of growth—one that required someone who could be fully committed. And deep down, I knew that person wasn’t me anymore.

Somewhere inside, I had already made my decision—I just hadn’t admitted it yet. The map I had been following no longer fit the terrain. And I could either cling to what was safe, or step into what was calling.

The Threshold Between Worlds

What I’ve come to understand is that this isn’t just my journey—it’s all of ours.

Many of us are standing in a liminal space, caught between what used to make sense and what’s still coming into view.

Individually, we feel the tension between the lives we’ve built and the deeper call toward something more.

Collectively, the world itself is shifting beneath our feet.

And if you look closely, there’s a pattern to this.

This isn’t just a moment in time—it’s part of a larger developmental unfolding.

  • AI & Decentralization → The very nature of trust, autonomy, and intelligence is evolving.

  • Bitcoin & Hard Money → A paradigm shift in how we store value, build economic sovereignty, and move beyond failing legacy systems.

  • Faith & Belief Structures → More people are moving beyond rigid institutions toward direct experience, integrating wisdom from across traditions.

  • Personal Growth & Awakening → This is no longer about “self-improvement” in the traditional sense—it’s about integration, transformation, and evolving our perception itself.

Each of these shifts is not just happening "out there"—they’re happening within us.

And the challenge is the same on every level:
How do we navigate the unknown with intention, instead of fear?

Because while the uncertainty can be overwhelming, the potential is extraordinary.

If we can move through this transition with clarity, courage, and awakened hearts, we have the chance to build something so good we can barely imagine it- where love, wisdom, and purpose guide our way.

A world where power is decentralized, yet connection is stronger than ever.
Where value is anchored not just in sovereignty and trust, but in the integrity of the human spirit.
Where innovation serves humanity, not just profit—aligning progress with purpose.
Where our deepest questions aren’t answered for us, but uncovered through lived experience, inner knowing, and the unfolding of the soul’s path.

Yes, this transition is volatile. Yes, it’s disorienting.

But that’s always been the nature of real transformation.

The old world is dissolving. The new one is still forming.

And right now, we get to decide who we become within it.

Why The Liminal Leap?

I created The Liminal Leap because I believe this transition—both personal and collective—deserves deeper exploration.

Each week, I’ll be diving into the patterns shaping our evolution—where ancient wisdom, AI, Bitcoin, consciousness, and decentralization meet. We’ll explore:

  • How to navigate the unknown with clarity and intention.

  • What’s emerging beyond traditional systems of finance, faith, and identity.

  • How this shift is not just economic or technological, but developmental.

  • How change isn’t just about external disruption, but about the internal transformation it demands from us.

And this is just the beginning.

As this community grows, I see this evolving into something bigger—perhaps a podcast, deeper discussions, and courses where we explore Bitcoin, AI, and decentralization not just as technologies, but as tools for deep transformation.

For now, this newsletter is home base. But the journey is unfolding in real-time, and I’d love for you to be part of it.

What’s Ahead?

In the coming weeks, I’ll be diving into:

📌 The Cost of Ignoring the Call to Change – What happens when we resist transformation? How can we recognize the signals telling us it's time to evolve?

📌 The Collapse of Old Paradigms & the Search for Meaning – When familiar structures no longer make sense, how do we navigate the space between what was and what’s next?

📌 Strength in Surrender—Why Letting Go is the Key to Moving Forward – The more we resist, the harder transitions become. What if the real strength is in surrendering to change?

This is going to be a conversation, and I’d love for you to be part of it.
